My Personal Journey in Spiritual Growth

How blessed I feel for all the spiritual gifts I have received over the years. I don’t know if it’s exactly the same for you, but I can look back in my life and see distinct turning points in my spiritual growth.

How It All Happened

One of these turning points occurred for me during our 2012 Transformation Course, which was the first time we offered the Deep Soul Access training. This course coincided with the transformational Gateway of 2012, culminating on Winter Solstice on December 21st. Oh, that time was so beautiful! It may not have made CNN Headline News, but there were thousands of people in meditation during that Winter Solstice. The course we presented leading up to that time was truly transformational for me personally.

I knew transformation was happening at the time from what I was experiencing, but what has happened since then is amazing. Now I see actual change and transformation in my physical life… you know, the actual manifested part, and of course, in my own spiritual growth.

The Magic of a Cohesive Group

The reason I am sharing this background on the Deep Soul Access course with you is because of the unique way this course is presented. It is the opportunity to work not only with the ascended masters, but also to participate consciously and energetically with a cohesive group. By definition, this cohesive group holds and works together to form a united whole.

There is magic that happens when this occurs!

The Power of Attunement

It is not so much about the physical material presented, although there are lessons to read and contemplate. The real power lies in the process of attunement. This is an energetic process that develops as you practice it and is readily facilitated by the ascended masters who come to help us during the course.

Here is one more point I want to make about the group. Each group that has been formed using the Deep Soul Access has been as unique as a snowflake. People who are drawn to the group bring their own gifts and talents and their own energy. The group, however, becomes greater than the sum of its parts. This, then, causes certain characteristics to stand out and they are different for each individual group. It is quite fascinating in and of itself.

We are Beloved by the Masters

So, here is the best part of all. When you participate in the course, it is amazing, exciting and so special because of the people you connect with and because we are beloved by the ascended masters. You feel this. But the very best of it all is that which continues to happen after the course. You continue to grow!!

That soul connection gets focused and then your exploration of the inner life really begins to happen. My own ability to see, understand, and go deeper into the true nature of my being has increased so much this past year. I can hardly wait to do this course again! Not only will I bring all that I have gained to add to the group, but I will now be able to understand it all at a deeper level as the masters work with us again in this course.

There are beautiful things happening everyone, if one but chooses to see it around them. I have the privilege of knowing a friend who is putting into action that very point.

We urge you to place your focus upon that rising light and remove your attention as far as possible from the old concerns around you. Walk through your days with the intent to remain connected with your highest selves, your highest dreams, and your highest intents, and your state of being will make upward strides which you will hardly have imagined. In part this will be possible because you will have begun to see outward signs of change which have not been evident until now. But mostly it will be due to your growing sensitivity to the immense love energies into which you and your entire world have become immersed.
This is compounded by each of you as your life is freed from its old bonds of fear and begins to feel its own power. Do not fail to reach out whenever possible and join with those around you in love and friendship. In so doing, nurture the changes in each other. You will even find it possible to love the beings of those whose actions and ideas you do not particularly like.
As you discover that you are not your ideas nor actions, you will be more able to discern that difference in others, as well. You each are, in fact, unique and necessary facets of the collective consciousness. Who you are, in a sense, has come about because of who everyone else is, just as the life of the cells in your finger is dependent upon the life of the cells in your heart.
Your consciousness is expanding to the point of seeing this and far, far more. You are on the verge of regaining the awareness you lost many millennia ago. You are also moving out of the ‘awareness’ of the passing of linear time. Right now it seems to you that time is speeding up and even out of control for you. That elusive quality, patience, will be much easier to maintain when the indescribable state of ‘no time’ is reached.
There is so much that is about to change for you. Yet no one has truly perceived the whole of it at this time. It is almost upon you though, so just maintain your progress, your intent, and your loving care for yourselves and we will take care of the rest.
We love you dearly and continue to walk with you. We will speak again soon. Good day.

Vishal Shah, who is a Chicago businessman (far right in photograph) teamed up with friends to help out the homeless in Chicago. Vishal had the idea to somehow giveback to his local community, which came about in the form of donating 55 blankets and 54 pairs of socks to those living without a home. Vishal and his team collected over $1,000 in donations in just a few days, which allowed them to purchase the large number of blankets and socks.

The Mind Unleashed caught up with Vishal and asked him about his experience:

TMU: What inspired you to do this?

Vishal: A friend and I were talking about giving back one night. I have had many similar conversations, but nothing ever came out of them. I decided to take action this time around.

TMU: Did you have help?

Vishal: I had plenty of help. Obviously, there are all the people who donated. There are the store employees who went above and beyond to fulfill my demands. There are my friends who helped hand the blankets out, and document the experience. There is no way I could’ve done this on my own. I’m truly grateful for the tremendous support I received in the short time frame that I put forth.

TMU: What was the most fulfilling part of this for you?

Vishal: The stories. I think a lot of us live in this bubble of narratives that are usually pretty similar to our own. When you share a laugh or try to empathize with someone in such a drastically different situation, it’s an eye-opener, to say the least. It was a little overwhelming if I’m being honest.

TMU: What was the best reaction you received?

Vishal: There was a woman who was sitting outside her tent with a boxed cheesecake that someone had just dropped off. After we talked for a few minutes, she offered us a piece of her cake. The gesture was so sweet. We kindly declined her offer, but that is one memory that will stick in my mind for years to come. The gentleman she was sharing her tent with was joking that people would beat him up for wearing colorful Christmas pattern socks. It was a great little exchange we had.

TMU: Are you planning to do it again?

Vishal: Yes, I will be doing a more planned version of this next year. Some retailers have expressed interest in donating and helping out with deals. Next year should be great.

TMU: Do you have a parting inspirational message for our readers?

Vishal: I’m not one to go and preach to others because I’m not a fan of being preached to. In that spirit, I’ll keep this short and sweet. Sometimes the problems of the world seem insurmountable, and we feel powerless to stop them. To some small degree, this feeling is valid. We also need to realize that we do have it in our power to make at least a small impact on our communities no matter where we are…and maybe if enough people make small impacts, we can eventually make a big one.

There is a significant phase that occurs in the process of initiation for many Lightworkers that I refer to as “The Spiritual Nomad”. Often, when one reaches this transition phase of spiritual evolution, it can be so painfully unnerving to the personality/ego that it not only devastates one’s self esteem, it also severely undermines our confidence to manifest even the most basic needs for our survival. It is precisely our “root” fears of survival that are being shaken to the core and unpeeled from us during this process. We are being prompted to work toward clearing these fears and perfecting our trust and surrender. So it is extremely important to understand the dynamics of why this occurs and actually how entirely common it is!

This will help you avoid the pitfall of allowing yourself to dwell in feelings of humiliation, shame and embarrassment by this externalization of forces that transform your world in to what appears to be a great “sacrifice”. This is a crucial part of some of our Light Family’s development and I want you to realize that you indeed have many family members that either have already undergone, or are currently working through this phase of spiritual development. I promise you this is a TEMPORARY phase. So if you know anyone who is presently working through this, do be sure to acknowledge their courage, strength and bravery to surrender to divine order and align to their soul’s purpose. Send them love. This is the TRUTH of what they are doing and it is to be honored and acknowledged.

We need to be more conscious of supporting those being recruited (The Newbies) and the new additions (Child Indigos, Crystals and Aliens) awakening to reinforce our divine purposes of bringing higher consciousness to this planet. We are moving incredibly swiftly – forward!

What is the Spiritual Nomad?

Some questions to define “The Spiritual Nomad”:

Are you currently jobless, juggling jobs, possibly homeless and relationship-less… much to your own bewilderment because you are an incredibly talented, skilled and loving being? You may even have an L.A.c, Ph.d, M.H.T and other assorted credentials after your name.
Do you feel invisible – like no one will hire you, love you or even recognize you? And, really, for no apparent reason (it feels like you have a mark on your forehead)?
Are you unable to do anything as you did in the past to earn a living or live as you once did?
Are you a healer or working in the healing arts, running around trying to find a way to translate this into cash or a means of support?
Do you seem to travel a lot, drive or go long distances, or sleep in several different places in short periods of time, perhaps even on your ex’s couch?
Do you feel confused about your purpose and identity in the world?
Are there people, such as your biological family or friends, who are completely shocked or troubled by your life, attempting to offer their advice of what went wrong with you?
Oh my dear one, welcome to “The Spiritual Nomad”. Fun, isn’t it? The rest of this article is for you!

THIS IS THE TIME in one’s life where every aspect of perceived “security” in the structure of the human world is completely unstable, unknown and unforeseen. Your life in all major areas, such as relationship, money, career, residence is all abruptly halted, changed and/or terminated. You are left feeling isolated and standing in a place of total bewilderment, wondering what happened to your life, the people in it and your former identity. This sets off every fear button you have because there is absolutely no sign of what is going on, what is coming or why it’s happening. There is only a sense that some force came in, picked you up out of your hologram and placed you into someone else’s life. For a while, you may not recognize whose life it is! It is very much like the sensation captured in the Talking Heads song lyrics, “Once in a Lifetime”…

Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right? Am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself
MY GOD! WHAT HAVE I DONE?

I have included the full lyrics for your amusement at the end of this article just to remind you that there are many others walking this path, and feeling just the same way you are!

In the process of our unraveling consciousness in this human drama setting, this is one of the experiences that we have set up as “spirit” to create the experience of learning to FULLY surrender to divine forces. It is a complete dismantling of our ego and ego defenses. This is the crossroads where we start to leave the world of human order and align to the Divine Order. To many of our earthly cohorts, biological families and old energy friends, it will appear as if we have stepped off the edge of a chasm into a realm of insanity.

Groups will stand around shaking their heads, whispering how you have gone off your rocker and offer lots of advice and theories to your problems and issues. As unsolicited advice starts mounting – generally suggesting that you are incompetent, “less than”, unrealistic, ungrounded, living in the clouds or just purely strange – your subconscious fear programs get triggered. Maybe, just maybe, could they be right? Internal pressures increase and you feel extremely conflicted about who you really ARE and what the heck you are doing with your life. This sets you off on a tangent of extreme inner examination and the re-evaluation of every goal, dream, thought and idea that you have had about your role in the world. Will I EVER make it? Will I ever become self actualized? Will I have the ability to create abundance in my life?

This process is designed to cultivate the incredible inner strength needed to face yourself and your deepest fears of survival. You then become intimate with the universal Law of Abundance and learn how generous the universe really is, even if it’s not all manifested in order of your personal preference. You find that somehow, someway, all your base needs are being met, even though you have not the foggiest clue how it’s happening or who some of the strangers are that have appeared in your life to support you – in ways you would never imagine! You learn how to receive from total strangers (an illusion, as everyone is Family) or from new sources, and learn how to acknowledge and receive these new ideas of abundance of which you were not formerly aware.

So, most commonly, one is feeling a type of embarrassment at being in the situation one is in; yet, simultaneously, feeling gratitude at these blessings being demonstrated at the most mundane levels (or even incredibly opulent levels) of existence. Finally, at about this time, you begin to Trust and realize that you REALLY are divinely protected and supported! You can relax now (at least a little)!

Here’s an example of my own experience: I was classified as “homeless” (as the Spiritual Nomad) and, yet, found myself staying and living in multi-million dollar mansions… and actually more than one at a time! The juxtaposition of having $20 to my name and hanging out in sprawling acreages with koi ponds was really quite bewildering to my brain/ego. I began to experience a new level of universal abundance and had to release my attachment to my ego’s desire/need to create it as coming from me. That illusion was a tricky one to dispel! I spent many bemused moments pondering the circumstances in which I found myself. It cultivated in me a trust that my needs would be met and that my spiritual path and mission was indeed supported in the physical world.

These experiences DO cultivate a level of deep faith and trust in the Divine Order, even when you do not have any external validation of “safety” – and that safety could be monetary, emotional support or a place to call “home” with a bed in it. Even when you are feeling blind and disconnected, to face this uncertainty and to find yourself ‘okay’ with it all is a major revelation. When you realize that your deepest fears (so many of them!) did not happen anyway, and, if they did… well, it really was not as bad as you once imagined it! My God! You can face just about anything! Your personal power begins to increase and your inner light glows ever more radiantly!

Well, my little darlings, if you find yourself smack dab in the center of this process, know that Spirit has many designs and great plans for you! It is important to work through all your fear, worry and obsessions. Then work to allow guidance, support and the light to shine on your path, even when it makes absolutely NO logical sense. You are learning to work your new Higher Sensory Perceptions and these antennae within you are being finely tuned for your new task and mission in the world.

You cannot “make” anything happen while you are in this process. So, you must relax as best you can. You are in transition to your greater destiny. When relaxing, you are expanding, not constricting, and the divine forces can more easily work through you and for you. Know that transformational forces are working magic in your life in ways you cannot comprehend. There really IS a Divine Order to what is happening to you. Know that it is okay not to know. Get more comfortable with uncertainty and external chaos while you cultivate that impenetrable core of divine essence to show the way for you and others. Finally, know that your Family is out here. We get it; we know what it’s like and we love you for walking the path with US!

One of the greatest problems that Old Souls ever face in this life, is finding love.

What sets Old Souls apart from others is their deeper level of maturity or wisdom, and with this wisdom comes the need to live and love authentically.

But as you’ve probably already discovered, the problem with most relationships is that they’re established to avoid loneliness, create comfort or security, or gain some sense of self-worth.

In other words, many relationships are based on playing ego-centered “games,” just like the ones we see on TV and in films. People thrive on the drama. People believe that they “need” another person to fill an empty hole inside of them. But something within you thirsts for a deeper level of love beyond the melodrama and lust.

The truth is, you yearn deep down for that which you’ve never (or rarely) experienced before: a relationship that is intense but healthy, devoted but free, supportive but not smothering.

You crave for honesty, authenticity, passion, empathy, true love, sincerity, and depth. You want to be seen, heard, understood, valued, and loved for who you are. And you want to express the same towards someone else.

My first relationship happened in my early twenties, with Luna. Up until that point in my life, I didn’t feel that any person matched my intensity of love, even after traveling through countless countries and meeting hundreds of people.

Over the years workings with many Old Souls I’ve come to realize that many others experience this exact same problem: the inability to find, or form, a truly fulfilling relationship.

Here are some of the main reasons why finding love as an Old Soul is so difficult:

1) We want love that is authentic

We want to be in a relationship that encourages and celebrates mutual authenticity. We don’t want to hide, pretend, suppress or change who we are in any way. We don’t want to find someone that doesn’t mind “putting up” with us, but rather, encourages us to “put forth” our truest and most authentic selves to be completely embraced.

2) We want love that teaches us

Instead of criticizing or rejecting us, we crave for someone who will point out where we’re going wrong, or ways that we need grow. Deep down, we realize that we will always have more to learn (Socrates once said “True wisdom is knowing that you know nothing”). It can be argued that all love affairs teach us, but they usually teach us unconsciously as a byproduct of suffering. Conscious teaching, on the other hand, is rare, precious and hard to find.

3) We’re healers but we don’t want to “fix” anyone

Due to our nature, we tend to attract people who are looking for help. But while our natural response is to offer help, we realize that entering a relationship in order to “fix” the other person is unwise. We don’t want to be the 24/7 doctors or counselors of our partners; we want to find someone who is in a similar place to us.

4) We have complex personalities

We think a lot, see deeply into the nature of reality and have intense personalities. It’s hard to find a person who can understand or match our complex identities. Having depth and seeking truth in a society that values materialistic status, objects, and superficial appearance can intimidate most people from getting to know us.

5) We want love that is beyond “liking”

We want fierce, uncompromising, genuine, deep love. In today’s world, most people throw around the word “love” as if it were synonymous with “like,” such as, “I love this ice cream/this pair of shoes.”

“Like” has no commitment. One day you like one flavor, the next day you like another.

Love is different. While liking is superficial, love is penetrating. While “liking” something is admiring its exterior form (and letting everyone know what that says about you), love is seeing past the exterior form and adoring the Soul.

6) We want love that is vulnerable

Being compatible at a personality level is simply not enough. True love is not liking someone or sharing their same interests, but instead is willingly opening up one’s heart and Soul — even if it hurts.

It is through the willingness to be vulnerable that wounds open, are given air, and heal. It is through vulnerability that we experience courage and the ability to love unconditionally.

7) We want commitment and effort

Love constantly needs to be nurtured, like the embers of a burning fire. Words are empty when they aren’t followed by action. As Old Souls, we know that real love can only be shown through shared experiences, effort, and dedication.

8) We want love rooted in wholeness

The moment your happiness depends on another person, you lose your freedom to love out of choice. We want a partner who is happy and whole by themselves so that we can share that wholeness with them. When people enter a relationship out of a sense of “neediness” because they feel incomplete or fear being lonely, the relationship is doomed. As Old Souls, we realize that healthy relationships are rooted in inner happiness.

9) We won’t settle for anything less than Soulmate love

Old Souls find it difficult to settle for comfort, lust, superficial attraction, security, or “keeping each other company.” We need someone who will share our values and be a true spiritual companion. We thirst for Soulmate and Twin Flame love.

10) We don’t enjoy the “Dating Game”

The drama, the addiction, the stimulation, the rules of what “should and shouldn’t” happen … it’s this egocentric approach towards love that Old Souls find so unappealing. This adds to the ever-increasing difficulty of finding love.

11) We come with wounds

Many Old Souls become the way they are through difficult and traumatic life circumstances which force the growth of inner maturity. When it comes to love, it’s vital that we find someone who is mature enough to deal with the “baggage” we often carry. But this can be hard to find in others.

12) We want more than just sex

Lust, seduction, and sex are alluring but ultimately momentary and shallow if obsessed over. While we love sex, we want more than just one night stands. We want to share our bodies with those that fall in love with our Souls first, rather than just our physical forms.

13) We’re Free Spirits

The reason why falling in love is so beautiful is because it expands us: it unites us with our innate freedom. The moment control is asserted over such a transcendent experience, we put love in a cage. And every time we look at that cage, we feel guilty in remembering how free that bird once was.

Deep down, Old Souls know how vital it is to encourage freedom in relationships. But it’s hard to find a person who is willing to fly free as well. Freedom requires courage and the ability to love another despite what they say, want or do.

The first present I gave Luna was a ring, with the inscription: “Alis volat propriis” (She flies with her own wings).

These are just a few of the reasons why so many Old Souls struggle in finding love.

We have all heard repeatedly the following quote:

“Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it.”

People seem to be so caught up in 3rd dimensional reality that they don’t realize they are repeating habits and behaviors from thousands of years ago. In my article Divide and Conquer (A Cabal Tool as Old as Time) we see that the same false flags and the same blame game is being used on an unfortunate minority or enemy of the empire of the time. Anyone that can be used and abused is used and abused – to the max.
Perhaps it took me being born a minority (gay) to really take a step back, look around and see that we all have the same needs, we all just want to be loved and treated with respect. This is our common denominator as humans. However, there are those who control this planet who seek the opposite. Hatred and anger are the bread and butter of a small group of people who’s goal is to perpetuate disharmony and exploit our differences for their own gain.
We know from the research of David Wilcock that these people had a goal to completely subvert the planet with three world wars. They got their first two, the third would be done in the middle east, so naturally the people of that part of the world had to be vilified. This is where we get Islamaphobia from. It is completely engineered and not real, just like almost every other phobia. There definitely was and is a war going on in the middle east, but it isn’t a world war like they wanted.
When I was younger I lived in this neighborhood in Tucson, AZ. I was friends with all the kids there and one of the friends I had was a boy named Mohammed. I spent a lot of time with him and his family and I can’t tell you how kind they were to me. They always welcomed me over and told me stories about their pilgrimage to Mecca and other places. I thought it was very fascinating.
Perhaps growing up as a minority in a neighborhood of minorities created an environment that allowed me to learn to enjoy the company of everyone regardless of their differences to me. For this I count myself fortunate and lucky. I currently work with a couple of doctors from Iraq who are Muslim and they some of the kindest people I have ever known. I will do Ramadan with them sometimes as I enjoy fasting periodically. Now I know there are those of faith who take things to the extreme, but as we have learned these people are very mind-controlled and need a lot of healing and deprogramming.
I still see many ‘awakened’ (and yes that could be you reading this) people speaking out against human rights for LGBTQ, black and other people and groups who have had a hard life because of this Cabal. Befriending someone who you are taught is your enemy is one of the most revolutionary acts you can do. Thinking for yourself (what did this person ever do to me?) is a courageous and revolutionary act in itself. Ask yourself, why do I dislike this person? Are these my own thoughts? Or am I repeating what the T.V. or religious scripture told me?
Love is going to save this planet, but we need to start using our amazing and powerful minds to deprogram ourselves and learn to live with one another in peace and harmony.
