Nicole Bar, a 12-year-old schoolgirl has scored a whopping 162 in a Mensa IQ test - making her smarter than EINSTEIN. See SWNS story SWMENSA; Nicole Barr achieved the maximum possible score for a youth giving her an IQ two points higher than scientists Albert Einstein and Professor Stephen Hawking. This puts Nicole, who is from the Travelling community and lives in Harlow, Essex, in the top one percent of intelligent people in the world. The average adult IQ score is 100, whilst a score above 140 is considered to be that of a genius. Nicole, who is in Year 7, said: ÃWhen I found out I got such a high score, it was so unexpected. I was shocked. I remember when I was in primary school and I was an angel in a school play, another girl who was playing the other angel didnÃt turn up so I learnt her lines too.Ã The schoolgirl, who attends Burnt Mill Academy, in Harlow, enjoys reading, singing and drama, and hopes to go on to study to become a doctor. 31 July 2015

A 12-year-old gypsy traveller has achieved a perfect IQ score which rivals that of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.

The daughter of migrant Roma workers, Nicole Barr, who lives with a travelling community in Essex, achieved a score of 162 on the IQ test, placing her in the top 1% of the population.

The young girl proudly told the Western Daily, “when I found out I got such a high score, it was so unexpected. I was so shocked.”

The average IQ score for adults is 100, according to NY Daily News, and any score higher than 140 is considered to be genius level.

Barr’s father, James, 36, took the test with his daughter, as he intuitively knew that she would do exceptionally well, and has since said that her success has been the talk of their community.

He told Yahoo Parenting, “She’s always loved numbers and puzzles, and she’s always been excellent at math, performing several years ahead of her age group in school. She likes challenging herself.”

He said that she has always been intelligent, and ahead of her peers at school. Barr currently attends Burnt Mill Academy in Harlow, and hopes to be a doctor when she is older.

Her head teacher, Helena Mills, said that she “works incredibly hard and has thrown herself into many different activities in her first year with us.”

Mensa spokeswoman, Ann Clarkson, stated that “only 110,000 members worldwide have been accepted into the exclusive Mensa society; 20,000 are from the British Isles, 35% of its members are female and only 8% are younger than 16”, so Barr is definitely within a very elitist group.

In a modern world with unlimited resources of information, this century will hopefully be that of many more child geniuses.

Her father added, “It’s nice for us to be in the news for something good for a change. This shows that it doesn’t matter where you come from, anyone can be academically brilliant.”
